These terms govern your use of the Circuit Fixers website, its tools and its repair network. By using this site, requesting a repair or joining the network, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Circuit Fixers Is

Circuit Fixers is an online platform for electronics repair: a library of annotated circuit boards, a catalogue of parts, tools for repair technicians, and a network that connects people who need a repair with technicians near them. Circuit Fixers itself doesn't carry out repairs; repairs are done by the technicians in the network. In St Lucia, that includes the repair workshop in Gros Islet where Circuit Fixers was built.

The parts catalogue and cart are for reference only - adding a part to your cart does not place an order or charge you anything. It simply prepares a list to include when you send a parts request; we'll follow up with actual availability and pricing. We don't currently process payments through this website.

Repair Requests and Quotes

  • Submitting a repair request or "Ask About This Part" inquiry does not create a binding agreement - it's a request for a technician (or, for parts, us) to get in touch with you.
  • Any price shown on the site (for parts or otherwise) is an estimate. For a repair, the technician gives you a quote after assessing your device, before any work begins.
  • Please back up your device's data before handing it over for repair whenever possible. Technicians aren't responsible for data loss during a repair unless their own terms say otherwise.
  • Parts availability shown on the site reflects our records at the time and isn't guaranteed until confirmed.

Repairs Through Our Technician Network

A repair request is shown to the independent repair technicians in our network in the customer's country, without the customer's name or contact details. The first technician to accept it receives those details. Technicians join the network themselves: Circuit Fixers doesn't check, approve, employ or recommend them, and doesn't choose which technician takes a request.

  • For customers: the technician who accepts your request quotes and carries out the repair directly with you. They are an independent business, not Circuit Fixers staff. The quote, payment, the repair itself and any warranty are agreed between you and them, and Circuit Fixers isn't responsible for their work. Ask about their experience, price and warranty before agreeing to anything. If a technician behaves dishonestly or abusively, tell us - we may pause or remove them from the network.
  • For technicians: joining is free for now; we'll give notice before introducing any fees. You must give accurate details about yourself and your experience, contact customers whose requests you accept promptly, use their details only for that repair, and release a job if you can't do it. We may pause or remove any technician at our discretion.

Warranty

Each technician sets the warranty on their own repairs - ask them before work begins. Repairs by the Gros Islet workshop where Circuit Fixers was built are backed by a 90-day warranty covering the specific repair performed against defects in workmanship or the part(s) installed; it doesn't cover new damage (e.g. further drops, liquid exposure) or issues unrelated to the original repair. Devices left at that workshop and not collected within 30 days of being told the repair is complete may be considered abandoned, subject to applicable law.

Some parts of this site (job management, device records, dashboard tools) require a staff account and are not intended for the general public. If you have an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
