Circuit Fixers works as a connector (an MCP server) for AI assistants. Ask about a device or a part in your usual assistant and it looks it up in our library of annotated boards from real repairs, then answers with a link to the board page, often zoomed in to the exact part.

Find a part on a board

By designator (Q1, R12) or part number, with a photo crop and a highlight link.

See where a part is used

Every board a part has been identified on, its datasheet and whether it's stocked.

Trace nets (technicians)

Rails and signals on a board and what they connect, with your technician key.

Add it to your assistant

The connector address:

Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Circuit Fixers and paste the address above.
  3. Leave sign-in empty - the board library is free to use. Technicians: add your key under request headers (below).
  4. In a chat, make sure the connector is switched on, then ask away.

ChatGPT and other assistants

Any assistant or app that can add a remote MCP server (also called a custom connector or remote tool) can use the same address - in ChatGPT, custom connectors are added from its settings where your plan allows them. No account is needed for the board library.

Try asking

“Where is U2 on the Peavey Dark Matter DM112 amp board?”

It finds the board, shows a photo crop of U2 (a TDA7293V) and gives you a link that opens the board photo zoomed in with it highlighted.

See the answer's link

“Which boards use a TL3845B?”

It lists every board the part has been identified on, such as the Electro-Voice ZLX-12P power board, each with a link to it.

See the answer's link

“What parts are on the Xiaomi Redmi PB200LZM power board?”

It lists the marked components with their designators, part numbers and values.

Assistants pass on our links - follow them to see the part on the real board photo.

Free for everyone

  • Searching boards and parts
  • Every marked component on a board, with highlight links and photo crops
  • Troubleshooting a fault: likely causes and a meter and scope test plan pointed at the real board - your assistant works it out from our data (in Claude, pick Troubleshoot a board from the connector's prompts)
  • Where each part is used, datasheets, stock

With a technician key

The traced nets on every board: which components a rail or signal connects, by component and pin, and a link that opens the board with the net highlighted.

  1. Make a personal key on API keys (technician accounts).
  2. In the connector's request headers add Authorization with the value Bearer, a space, then your key.
  3. Ask, for example, “Which nets connect to U25 on the Feelworld F6 Pro main board?” Troubleshooting then includes the board's rails and signal paths, so the tests name exact test points.
